Concerts Of 07'

This is about the same time every year when all of the bands come around for concerts. The first concert of the year for me is going to feature the bands He Is Legend and Killswitch Engage which will be on April 6th. The following day i will be attending a concert which will feature Finger Eleven and Chevelle on April 7th. Later in the year i plan to go to a concert which comes around every year and features the same band as a headliner, Korn. It's called the Family Values Tour and it's one of my favorite concerts. Last year i went and it was at DTE Energy Theatre and i stood outside in the rain all day during the concert which went from about noon-11pm. Last year it featured Korn and the Deftones as the two headliners. This year it's going to be Korn and Evenescence. I very much enjoy concerts and i plan on going to many more in addition to these three. These are just the three i most look forward to.

Do You Ever Wonder?

I've always been a pretty curious person and I have always asked questions which usually can not be answered. One thing I have always wandered was "how far does outer space go?". I mean think about it... Does anybody actually know how far forever is? It has to end somewhere right? But if it does, what's at the end? Maybe it doesn't end... but then how far does it go? I guess that's just one question that may never be answered. If you have the answers though, let me know.

Detroit Lyons!!!

So this year I'm actually looking forward to watching the Detroit Lyons!!! I look forward to the football season every year because i used to play football but then i realized that i was a little to small to play so i quit but i still love watching it every year. Well this year I am actually looking forward to watching the Detroit Lyons because unlike very other year they actually have a chance at having a winning record this year. They picked up two new running backs who both post good enough numbers to win (Tatum Bell and T.J. Duckett). The Lyons also have a chance at getting the number one draft pick in the 2007 NFL draft (Brady Quinn) who is probably the best college quarterback currently. I suggest everyone pay attention to the Lyons this year because just as the Tigers did last year i predict that the Lyons will have a blow out year that nobody expects!!!

Bad Mood

Of late I have found myself to be in a bad mood. I'm not sure what is promoting this bad mood but i don't really like it. I don't like it because everyone gets mad at me when I'm in a bad mood but I don't really know what to do to change my mood. I don't like being angry and I'm hoping that one day i might find the source of this anger so I can work on fixing it. If I don't find the source though that's cool to i guess, I don't really need to be happy. Just as long as everyone else around me is happy.

What I Think Of The General Public

I shall now express my view on the general public. I do not expect anyone to agree with me but then again everyone is entitled to there own opinion and everyone believes that there opinion is right. I believe that there is a severe lack of respect and appreciation for everything among the general public nowdays, especially the younger group of people. I think that a lot of people do not quit apprecaite and realize what they have and i think a lot of people take advantage of others. I think that nowdays most teens are given almost everything by there parents and in doing that most teens do not appreciate what they have because they didn't have to pay for it on there own. I think that these kids who are given a new car by there parents do not at all appreciate what they have (even though most of them will say they do) because a lot of times i hear them complain that "it's not the car i wanted" or "it's not the color i want". Well when i hear these stupid ass complaints i just want to tear these kids apart because at least your parents gave you a car. My parents made me buy my own car and they do not pay for one bit of my car. I'm done blogging about what i think now because i could go on for hours with this but i have better things to do, like go to work and make money so i can support myself, but then again I'm sure most of you don't know what that's like either. Sure you may have a job but i doubt most of your money goes to absolute needs like food and clothes and gas and car insurance because I'm sure your parents don't make you pay for any of that. The bottom line is... In my eyes i see a severe lack of respect and appreciation for society when i look around at the general public. As i said earlier you don't have to agree with me though, because everybody has there own opinion and everyone thinks that there opinion is right.

Life

So at this point in my life I am beginning to realize that every week is the same. It starts out every Monday where i go to school, therapy, then do homework and every day after that is a pattern of events that eventually lead to the weekend when I find myself stuck at home trying to find something to do. I go to school, come home and do homework, and either go to work until about 10:30 or i go to the gym. This is my daily ruitine until Friday. Every Friday i usually go to school then go bowling with one of my best friends Jason until i can find something to do with the rest of my night. Most of the time we do nothing more than drive around until someone calls us or we find something to do. The next day (Saturday) i wake up and go to work until noon or 1. After that i go home and find Jason passed out on my living room floor (since he usually stays at my house on the weekends) and i decide to wake his lazy a** up. By about 1 or 2 we find ourselves sitting in my living room in the same position we are in every Friday night and the events that usually follow are almost identicale to those of Friday. The next day (usually Sunday) i do nothing more but sit and do homework until i go to work around 5 or so. After work the week starts all over again in this never changing cycle we call life.

Summer '07

So this summer is going to be pretty sweet i think. About a week after school gets out I'm going up north with 3 of my best friends who live in South Lyon. You may have read an earlier blog about the last time i went up north with these same three kids and we got in trouble because of my two friends who were caught by the cops while they were riding a bike on the side of the road with a 6-pack of beer. Well i hope that this year is a little better but even if it's not we are still going to have a crazy time. Since my parents cabin is right next to Lake Michigan and my dad has a big fishing boat we plan on tubbing on the back of it out on Lake Michigan. Besides that there is not a whole lot to do besides hang out with the local kids and party!!!

My Car

So the other i was driving home from somewhere (I don't remember where) when i hit my brakes and they began making an odd sound. I was coming up to a red light (at Decker Rd. and 14 Mile Rd.) when i noticed that my brakes were not working. They were slowing me down but they weren't slowing me down fast enough. I was quickly approaching the red light and i was going way to fast to stop but i decided i was still going to try since i didn't really want to get a ticket for running a red light. Well my brakes did stop me but they stopped me right under the light so at this point i either had the option of just going or staying and possibly getting hit by another car. I took option A. I went through the red light and continued on my way home. When i got home i told my dad and we went to the brake shop to get it checked out. The kind man at the brake shop told me he would check it out and have it ready by the end of the day. Well i was waiting all day and around 7 o'clock i decided to call and check on my car. The man told me he wouldn't have it ready until the next day, so now i was mad because i didn't have a ride to school the next day. I ended up getting my car after school the next day and when i went to pick it up the man told me that it was going to cost me $350 for the repairs!!! So now I am in a position where i need to come up with $350 somehow and i don't have any money at all!!!

Blog's

So right now I'm sitting in my Architectural CAD class and I'm trying to figure out how in the world I am going to finish about a dozen or so blogs before 6th hour. I'm at a severe loss of ideas and I'm kind of worried because I'm not quite sure if I can afford to turn in only about 15 blogs or not. I think Ms. Eastman is going to be very upset when she sees that i didn't finish blogging, BUT, i think she should give me a break considering I am such a good student, and if she doesn't give me a break I'm not sure if I can call her my favorite teacher anymore.

Senioritis

So I'm pretty sure at this point in the year almost every senior is experiencing the effects of the so called "senioritis" disease. It's a disease that every senior eventually goes through at one point or another, some of us sooner than others but ultimately everyone goes through it. Right now we only have about 2 more months of school and this is right around when most seniors obtain "senioritis". There is no cure for "senioritis", only graduation can fix it. The effects may not always be visible but they are still there. For many seniors like myself the most obvious effect of "senioritis" is in the grades. My grades have begun to show a significant drop since about mid January. Senioritis is a major problem in high school seniors all over, but it can not be avoided. It can only be treated by graduation!!!

Graduation '07

So graduation is nearly upon us seniors. The moment we have all been waiting for, for the past 12 years is almost here. 2 more months and we will be done with high school! What seems like the end for us is actually only the beginning because for those of us who plan on going to college this is only the beginning of another school where we will be trapped for another 4-8 years of our life. Even though we are starting all over again at a new school it's not that bad though. Because this is also where most of us will be moving out of the house and starting out on our own, which is what every teenager wants right? Who doesn't want to be independent and do whatever they want without there parents holding them down? I'm so excited to graduate and go to college and actually start living on my own and become independent of my parents and i know every other senior feels the same way.

Winter Bells

So I must say that i find the whole concept of the game Winter Bells quite ridiculous. I mean what is so exciting about controlling a little bunny so that it jumps from bell to bell only to hit a point of no return where the bunny ultimately ends up missing a bell and falls to the ground where it has to start all over again. I think it's stupid but then again maybe that's what makes it so much fun. Maybe it's the excitement of not knowing whats past that trillion point mark, or maybe it's just another way to gain bragging rights over the kid sitting next to you who THINKS he is the best Winter Bells player ever (Max). Whatever it is the bottom line is, Winter Bells is awesome and it's a shame that none of the teachers understand and appreciate the game and i think if Ms. Eastman would just try the game one time she would fall in love and be hooked forever.

"Quotes"

The quotes "sometimes when you win you lose", "thought is real, its the physical that is the illusion", and "whats true in our minds is true" all seem to have one common theme. They all seem to stress the idea that people should trust there own judgment and do whatever they believe, in there hearts, is right even though you may not always end up getting everything you want in the end. I must say that i do side with whomever developed these thoughts because they have all proved to be accurate of my life thus far. There have been many instances in my life where i did not trust my own judgement and i ended up getting screwed over in the end. But usually when i do trust my own best judgement things turn out for the best, even though i may not get everything i want in the end, things still turn out ok usually.

300-Movie Evaluation

So Monday night i went to see the most epic movie of the year to date, 300. The entire plot and idea behind the movie was good as were the visual effects. My only problem with the movie was how the director decided to use slow motion as a major effect throughout the entire movie. There were countless moments in the movie when slow motion was not at all necessary, take one point in the movie for example when one of the guys got his head cut off, it immediately went into slow motion as the mans headless body fell to the ground. What was actually no more than about 20 seconds or so seemed like about 5 minutes as i watched the mans body fall. I guess the director found it necessary though since he used slow motion in almost EVERY fight scene and in many other parts of the movie. If i were a movie critic i would probably give this movie an 8.5 out of 10 because it was very visually appealing and generally speaking it was a good movie BUT i think the slow motion was a bit much at times. Any thoughts? If you've seen the movie let me know what you think.

Pickle And A Cheese Puff

So the other day at work i was really bored because it was the slowest night ever. I don't know what in the world i was thinking about but i suddenly had this crazy idea for a story. I thought about writing something about a cheese puff and a pickle in a fridge. Now I'm sure as soon as you read that you thought to yourself "what the hell?". Well it sounds kind of far fetched but if you think about it it's kind of cool. Think about it... A story about a cheese puff and a pickle who just sit in a fridge all day and see all of these people coming in and out all day long. Who wouldn't like to read that?
